Dr. Wagner is a 1995 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic West located in San Jose, CA. Dr. Wagner was born and raised in the Midwestern states of South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota, graduating from high school in 1982. Succeeding high school, he attended college at the University of the Nations in Kona, Hawaii. He continued as a youth counselor there for three years working with the international Christian relief organization, Youth With A Mission (YWAM). Dr. Wagner moved to California in 1985 to continue his formal education.
After receiving his Doctorate in Chiropractic with Honors in 1995, Dr. Bob began his private practice in the Bay area of California with Olympic team doctor Joseph Leahy, who worked with the Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49'ers, San Jose Sharks, and as well as 10 countries' Olympic teams. Dr Leahy taught postgraduate sports chiropractic and Active Release Techniques. Dr. Wagner feels fortunate to have had Dr. Leahy as his mentor and the opportunity to work with several world class athletes there, all while developing his skills in Active Release Techniques (ART) in a clinic that specializes in treating sports injuries.
In 1997, Dr. Bob and his family moved to Washington State establishing CHASE CHIROPRACTIC CENTER named after his oldest son Chase. Dr. Bob's strongest motivation in becoming a Chiropractor is a belief that "Everyone is created by their Maker in a wonderfully complex yet complete way, and that given the right care we all have an amazing ability to maintain good health." Dr. Bob loves his local community and enjoys serving those who live in it.
